SCYR 2026 – Scientific Conference of Young Researchers

We are pleased to announce the next edition of the Scientific Conference of Young Researchers – SCYR 2026. This well-established and traditional event offers PhD students and young researchers from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the Technical University of Košice a unique opportunity to share and discuss their latest research findings and to network with other peers in the fields of electrical and electronic engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence and related topics. The conference will be held on April 17, 2025, at the Congress Centre of Technical University of Košice.

The SCYR annual conference organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics is aimed at providing a platform for PhD students and young scientists to present and discuss their research. Each year, the best papers in their respective sections are recognized with awards, including the Dean’s Prize, which is given to outstanding contributions. Additionally, various prizes sponsored by industry partners and conference supporters are awarded, further highlighting the strong connection between academia and industry.
The SCYR provides an opportunity for PhD students to gain recognition for their work and build connections with other young researchers. Topics of interest for submission include:
